Called the Train to jinjillikkampatti.... It even talks on the most philosophical question of all times- Why does the vadai (not vada,, you Amit s!) alias ulundu vadai alias medhu vadai have a hole????
I landed on this blog while searching for chaya vada. Seems good. Dunno why the obsession with Chinese stuff.. (And dunno why it is spelt vada and not vadai :( )

I wonder why would anyone google for chaya vada! I suggest visiting a nearby canteen.
ReplyDelete'Hole Vada' is commonly used in our hostel mess to refer to medhu vadais. That explains the etymology.
Have you heard of the 'Vada Pav'? Equally edible.
